The Cat´s Cradle Hoops Earrings
ALIGHIERI

Alighieri Jewellery 'The Cat’s Cradle Hoops' are inspired by the confidence and curiosity of the cat. A twist of yarn wraps around the molten hoop: an invitation to play and explore on all of life’s adventures.
They belong to the VANITAS collection that is a capsule of thirteen Modern Heirlooms, inspired by the confidence and curiosity of the cat. The collection explores the definition of “vanity”, posing questions about what it means to feel confident, proud and worthy.
The Cat’s Cradle Hoops are cast in 100% recycled bronze, with a 24kt gold plating. The earring posts are recycled sterling silver. Each side has a subtle difference in its unique Alighieri texture.

Alighieri is a collection of jewellery inspired by Dante Alighieri’s ‘Divine Comedy’; each piece corresponds to one of the poet’s 100 poems. Founded by Rosh Matani in 2014 with the intention of creating "Modern heirlooms that celebrate the beauty of human imperfection", every piece is handcrafted in London's Hatton Garden by a family-run business through the process of lost-wax casting.
